Mission Statement

At Roadmap ABA, we celebrate neurodiversity while promoting independence using evidence-based, individualized services that improve socially meaningful development, such as communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors while reducing problematic ones.

We work by analyzing behaviors and applying principles of behaviorism, such as positive reinforcement, to teach new skills by breaking them into small steps. We incorporate play-based, child-led techniques to make learning engaging and effective, with programs tailored by trained professionals like Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Our Founder

Roadmap ABA was conceived and created by a dedicated parent with a child on the spectrum. Kathleen Esch, MA, BCBA spent 18 years navigating the world of “autism parenthood,” before redirecting her focus to studying ABA and attaining her board certification. During those confusing years, Kathy and her spouse would often express “Can someone, somewhere, just give us a roadmap of what we should do to help our child?”

More than 15 years later, she has helped hundreds of families affected by autism and related disorders.

HOME-BASED THERAPY

ABA therapy takes place in your home. Your dedicated team will work with you to determine a set schedule that our behavior technicians will come to the home to work with your child in a one-on-one setting.

COMMUNITY-BASED THERAPY

At Roadmap ABA, we want to improve your child's access to the world around them. We can provide therapy in the community that your child interacts with to help support them in all important aspects of their environment.

FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAM

Parents and caregivers involved in a comprehensive ABA program receive education and training that equips them with practical ABA strategies to address behavioral challenges frequently seen in children with Autism

Get In Touch

After receiving approval from your insurance, a certified provider will reach out to you to conduct a thorough assessment, creating a personalized care plan for you and your family. We will then submit the report on your behalf to your insurance for approval of services for the next 6 months. Once we receive approval from your insurance, our team will schedule the treatment hours with you and your child. We are excited to begin collaborating with you soon!
